As most of you know I have been religiously using Kiehl’s BB Creme for years (as seen here, here and here). So, after my 100th bottle had run out, I decided to switch things up a bit – simply out of curiosity. Luckily, I was recently given the infamous Origins VitaZing Energy-Boosting Moisturizer (Sheer Tint Release) as a gift and eventually decided to check out the magic. We are talking a multi-tasking moisturizer that handles the jobs of hydrating, energizing and protecting the skin all day long. The refreshing “zing” of antioxidant-rich Mangosteen supposedly adds a healthy glow to your skin, the kind you only get from a week’s vacation… Well, let’s get reviewing:

Personally, I am very happy with this product. I’ve been using it for 4 weeks straight and so far, I can’t complain. The exciting thing about Origins VitaZing™ Moisturizer is that it contains tiny tinted capsules that break open and blend in with your skin. I’d recommend applying the moisturizer with bare hands – only the warmth of your fingers will help the capsules pop and release their pigments. Also, SPF 15 is perfect for those early summer days – nothing worse than having to apply a separate layer of sun lotion. I’ve spent entire weekends out in the sun and my skin was fine. (Naturally however, I wouldn’t recommend using the moisturizer by itself on, say, a full-on summer vacation in the Caribbean.)

Have you tried the Origins VitaZing™ Energy-Boosting Moisturizer yet? What is your opinion? Leave it in the comments below!

Take care & read you soon – xoxo,
