Frankly, there’s hardly a day where I skip or miss out on breakfast. Simply because it’s (by far!) my favorite meal of the day. A nice slice of crusty whole wheat bread with jelly and a plain cup of coffee – my kind of foodporn. BUT: On those rare yet brutal oh-God-I-accidentally-slept-in days there’s nothing more handy than a quick breakfast smoothie on the way to work. As of lately I’ve been using Kenwood’s awesome To-Go Smoothie Maker (a birthday gift from my best gals), but you can really use any blender within reach. Et voilà, here goes my favorite on-the-go smoothie recipe:


What you’ll need (1-2 servings):

  • 1 ripe mango
  • 1 cup of raspberries
  • 2 cups of milk
  • Optional: Honey, cinnamon, mint leaves

Easy, as always. Toss everything into your smoothie maker and blend away. (Usually I would simply grab the cup and head out the door – but for shooting purposes I poured everything into a neat cocktail glass and garnished it with fresh mint leaves and a straw.)

  1. Schaut lecker aus :) Ich freu mich schon, wenn Erdbeeren und Himbeeren wieder bei uns in Saison sind, da werd ich mir nur noch davon ernähren :D Momentan müssen TK-Beeren genügen.
