(Drum roll)… Yay! Time for some beauty talk! Today’s post is all about my personal go-to lipsticks as well as some tipps & tricks on how to achieve the perfect lip. From pale nude to luscious red, the options are really endless. While I’m an everyday lip balm kind of girl (check out my summer post on EOS here), I simply can’t resist the occasional pop of color, approximately once a week and especially on nights out with them best girls. Anywho, here we go:

Et voilà, three no-brainer steps to successfully creating a bold yet clean lip:

1. First things first: As I am blessed with super chapped lips (especially during winter), I try pampering them with quick little DIY scrubs, here and then. Simply mix a teaspoon of olive oil with a dash of organic brown sugar and gently rub across both upper and lower lip. The results are amaze-balls. We’re talking baby’s butt. Finish off with your favorite lip balm.

2. Having created a clean canvas, apply your color of choice – if you feel a little out of practice, try applying the color with a lip brush instead. It will give you a lot more precision.

3. Time for the best part: Make a fishy-face, followed by a duck-face, followed by a couple of pop-pop-bupp-bupp-faces (I have no idea how to describe this one, but you guys get the drill). Blot any access color with a clean tissue… And you’re good to go!

“Beauty, to me, is about being comfortable in your own skin.                                                                                                  That, or a kick-ass red lipstick (Gwyneth Paltrow).”

Take care & read you soon – xoxo,
